Question 1

Which video conferencing platforms do you support?

Accepted Answer

We design and install supported systems for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, and other major conferencing platforms. The right configuration depends on your room, hardware, and meeting requirements.

Question 2

Can video conferencing systems work in small huddle spaces as well as large boardrooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We size the camera, microphone, speaker, display, and room system around the space. This allows the same approach to work across huddle rooms, standard meeting rooms, training rooms, and boardrooms.

Question 3

Do participants need to install any software to join a meeting?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the meeting platform and how the room is configured. Dedicated room systems can provide a simple room-based joining experience, while BYOD setups allow users to run meetings from their own laptops.

Question 4

Can existing meeting rooms be upgraded without major renovation?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, yes. We assess existing displays, cameras, microphones, cabling, and room devices for compatibility and reuse suitable equipment before recommending replacements.

Question 5

Do you provide installation and ongoing support?

Accepted Answer

Yes. CODE3 handles installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, user training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ongoing technical support.

Question 6

What's the difference between a BYOD setup and a dedicated room kit?

Accepted Answer

BYOD lets users run meetings from their own laptop using connected room peripherals. A dedicated room kit provides a fixed, platform-optimized experience with room controls and a simpler meeting workflow.

Question 7

Can we keep using our existing webcam or speakerphone?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. We first check compatibility, performance, connectivity, and room coverage. If the existing device is suitable, we can incorporate it rather than replace it unnecessarily.

Question 8

How much does a video conferencing room setup cost?

Accepted Answer

Cost depends on room size, the platform you use and whether it is a huddle space, meeting room or large boardroom - we size this during a consultation rather than quoting a flat rate.

Question 9

What internet speed is needed for reliable video conferencing?

Accepted Answer

This varies by platform and number of concurrent calls - we review your network during the assessment and recommend upgrades if needed as part of the setup.

Question 10

Can multiple meeting rooms be managed centrally?

Accepted Answer

Yes, where supported by the selected platform, room systems across multiple locations can be monitored and managed from one dashboard.

Question 11

Does CODE3 provide video conferencing solutions outside Dubai?

Accepted Answer

Yes, CODE3 provides video conferencing solutions for businesses across Dubai and the UAE.

Question 12

Can AI features like noise cancellation or auto-framing be added to an existing room?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, yes - some AI features are a firmware or software update on supported hardware, while others require a camera or audio upgrade. We can confirm what applies to your existing setup.

Question 13

What video conferencing equipment do you install - cameras, microphones, speakers?

Accepted Answer

We spec and install the full video conferencing hardware stack for each room: PTZ or wide-angle cameras, ceiling or table microphones, and in-room speakers, matched to the room size and acoustics rather than a one-size-fits-all kit.

Question 14

Can you set up hybrid video conferencing for rooms with both in-person and remote attendees?

Accepted Answer

Yes - hybrid-ready rooms are our default design approach: camera framing, mic coverage and speaker placement are all set up so remote attendees get the same experience as people sitting in the room.

Question 15

What microphone setup do you recommend for a large conference room?

Accepted Answer

For larger rooms we move away from a single tabletop mic and use ceiling microphones or multiple table mics working together, paired with a matching speaker system - a setup that works fine in a huddle room usually leaves people at the far end of a big table unheard.

Question 16

Do you provide PTZ cameras for video conferencing?

Accepted Answer

Yes - PTZ cameras are our default choice for mid-size and large rooms, since they can pan, tilt and zoom to frame whoever's speaking, rather than leaving everyone stuck in one static wide shot.

Question 17

Can you set up video walls or multiple screens in a conference room?

Accepted Answer

Yes, video wall and multi-screen setups are common in larger boardrooms where one display isn't enough to show a shared screen, a conference call and a presentation at once.

Question 18

What’s the difference between hybrid and silent conferencing setups?

Accepted Answer

Hybrid conferencing means in-person and remote attendees in the same meeting, which is now our default room design. Silent conferencing is different - it's a setup using personal headsets so multiple conversations or languages can run in the same open space without audio clashing, which we also support for training rooms and some open-plan setups.

Question 19

Do you work with offices of all sizes, or only large corporate facilities?

Accepted Answer

Both - we've installed all-in-one video conferencing kits for single-room offices and multi-room video conferencing facilities for larger corporate and government clients, so the system fits the space rather than the other way round.
